My wife’s Compaq 15-S108NA laptop from a few years ago was getting a little slow around the edges, it took Windows 10 fine and has upgraded to every edition released with no problems, it runs Office 2016, OneDrive, Chrome, all the usual uses for a general day-to-day laptop but can be slow to boot and for apps to load.
Time to upgrade to an SSD.
So the other day I decided I wanted to actually fully write my blogs when out and not wait until I was home to finish them off. The iPad is good but image editing isn’t that easy and adding images to WordPress is much easier on a fully functional laptop.
Not having a huge budget meant looking around for something small, functional and cheap – I found the Lenovo IdeaPad 110S-11IBR at Argos for £169.99.
As you may have gathered (especially if you’ve read my About me) I work in IT support and have done for over 20 years now and many things have changed in that time but I won’t bore you with that! However I will now tell you a tale about my latest piece of kit that I use for work.
*Warning – This blog is very tech and geek based, it’s designed for those who tell others to turn things off and back on! – Turn back now*
