Goodyear Efficient Grip 205/55/16  on Dacia Stepway

19,000 miles from new and now they need replacing, great in the dry but not so good cornering on the wet and have a habit of sliding if pushed even just a little.

Braking however is very good in both wet & dry conditions. Wear rate and MPG, no point of reference on this car for me.

Update – Nov 2017

So these tyres were fitted to the car when new, the fronts needed replacing after 19,000 miles but the rears have lasted and lasted and now at 62,000 miles I am about to replace them – One side has just under 4mm of tread left and the other side has just under 3mm of tread left, the reason for this is simple, the passenger side had a puncture a very long time ago which was repaired (centre of the tread) and has been great but as time and mileage has gone on I’ve had a slight problem, when the air temp overnight drops the tyre pressure goes down slightly, after a couple of days of this the pressure is down enough to trigger the TPMS light to warn me.  However, this is normally after a couple of hundred miles running on a reduced pressure which has increased wear.
