Meet Edison (the robot)

The other day I got the chance to have a play with an Edison Robot, it’s meant to introduce kids to programming and robotics but it’s also damn good fun!

It’s not connected to Skynet so won’t take over the world and kill everyone so nothing to worry about there.

GTech ST20 Strimmer Review

A new garden means plenty of grass, plenty of grass means lots of cutting and trimming.

I’ve had an assortment strimmers, used some high power ones that weigh a fair amount and even used a petrol one when the going was tough in a previous jungle garden.

All but one had the same thing in common, the cutting head was always nylon line. I want a bladed strimmer!

Compaq 15-S108NA OEM HDD to ADATA SSD

My wife’s Compaq 15-S108NA laptop from a few years ago was getting a little slow around the edges, it took Windows 10 fine and has upgraded to every edition released with no problems, it runs Office 2016, OneDrive, Chrome, all the usual uses for a general day-to-day laptop but can be slow to boot and for apps to load.

Time to upgrade to an SSD.

Leisure CuisineMaster Range Cooker – CS90F530

Its time for range cooker version 2 (our 3rd cooker for those keeping count). Our failed Belling was replaced with the CS90F530 from Leisure.

The phrase chalk and cheese is perfect to describe the differences, this range is everything we expected from a range cooker and what the Belling should have been.
