A new garden means plenty of grass, plenty of grass means lots of cutting and trimming.
I’ve had an assortment strimmers, used some high power ones that weigh a fair amount and even used a petrol one when the going was tough in a previous jungle garden.
All but one had the same thing in common, the cutting head was always nylon line. I want a bladed strimmer!
My wife’s Compaq 15-S108NA laptop from a few years ago was getting a little slow around the edges, it took Windows 10 fine and has upgraded to every edition released with no problems, it runs Office 2016, OneDrive, Chrome, all the usual uses for a general day-to-day laptop but can be slow to boot and for apps to load.
Time to upgrade to an SSD.
Its time for range cooker version 2 (our 3rd cooker for those keeping count). Our failed Belling was replaced with the CS90F530 from Leisure.
The phrase chalk and cheese is perfect to describe the differences, this range is everything we expected from a range cooker and what the Belling should have been.
Coffee, yes coffee and lots of it!
When we moved into the new house I spent the first couple of weeks laying flooring, installing blinds, light fittings etc and my wife bought me a surprise!
A DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM 4200 Bean to cup coffee machine.
New floors mean new carpets and with new carpets comes stuck doors! We had carpets fitted in a few rooms in the house and out of 10 doors we had to shave 8 of them.
Not wanting to spend all my time using a manual planer I thought I’d buy an electronic version and make the job easier.
This didn’t go to plan!
